Located on the shores of magnificent Lago Apanas where coffee grows under 200-year-old oak, the morning sun burns away the night mist where rolling green meets calm waters.

The songs of the Guardabarranco, Quetzal, and a thousand other birds can be heard coming from the emerald abyss of the forest. The sweet smell of wildflowers, Spanish moss,and Caturra Coffee perfume the air.

Location

Located at an altitude that ranges from 3,200 feet at lake level to 3,700 feet at the top of the property, the climate in Apanas Lake Estates is perfect. Average daily temperatures range from 65 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit. During much of the year, it is cool enough to wear a sweater at night.

The nearest town, Jinotega, is 8 miles away. It has its own flavor, a beautiful plaza and cathedral, as well as, all the necessities: grocery stores, restaurants, banks, the post office, a hospital, or night out on the town
